About Us

Karin Chandler is a licensed Marriage, Child and Family Therapist in the State of California. While her practice focuses on children, adolescents and their families, she also works directly with schools throughout the Bay Area in developing and implementing social, emotional, and behavioral plans within the school system. She has developed and runs the children's group program within her practice.

She received her Master's Degree at San Francisco State University in Psychology and was trained at Sunny Hills Children's Services in Marin County, California as well as The Children's Health Council in Palo Alto, California.

Karin believes that helping children and adolescents live a balanced life creates a better today and tomorrow for that child and for everyone in the life of that child. She believes that parents ultimately need to feel empowered in raising their children and should have the skills that most professionals acquire and implement with children. Because the family environment is one of, if not the most, important learning experiences any child could have, she supports parents in learning what to do to support their child's progress.
